Flour and corn tortillas hand-rolled all day on the authentic comal; Salsa Fresca made fresh every hour, fire roasting Anaheim Peppers, seven incredible sauces made daily, fresh margaritas, fully loaded nacho car, and more….Tex-Mex lovers rejoice – now you have access to three locations in Central Florida.
Chuy’s, the Austin-based restaurant famous for its authentic and crave-able Tex-Mex menu, has opened its doors of their newest Central Florida location. This Tex-Mex favorite is located at 6688 South Semoran Boulevard near Orlando International Airport, joining Chuy’s Kissimmee and Chuy’s I-Shops, located on International Drive.
In addition, distinctive décor surrounds diners – an Elvis shrine, hubcaps on the ceiling and soaring eight-foot tall palm trees, among other eclectic treasures – to make Chuy’s the most fun and friendly restaurant in town. The Chuy’s motto is “If you’ve seen one Chuy’s, you’ve seen one Chuy’s!” because each restaurant’s eclectic décor is unique and no two restaurants are the same.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to grow our presence in Central Florida with the opening of our third location,” said Jose Ortega, Owner/Operator of the new Chuy’s. “This community has really responded to our fresh Tex-Mex and incredible service and we’re looking forward to sharing it with more of the locals and tourists alike.”
Capturing our delicious media preview evening is the talented Bokeh Studio.
We noshed on seven incredibly delicious home made sauces, Assorted Appetizer Plate, Baja Tacos, Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken (oh so good!!), Beef Fajita, and the sweet Tres Leches. My favorite sauces were the Boom Boom and Queso. Man, writing this post is making me drool……
Did I mention hand-rolled fresh and warm tortillas?
The Elvis Green Chili Chicken was the first to get devoured….I only got one bite!
You won’t be hungry after the Beef Fajita – just look at the generous helpings.
The evenings proceeds were donated to Give Kids the World. Give Kids The World is a non-profit organization that exists only to fulfill the wishes of all children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world to experience a memorable, joyful, cost-free visit to the Central Florida attractions, and to enjoy the magic of Give Kids The World Village for as long as there is a need.
