Orlando Magic Hosts Food & Wine Festival to Benefit Orlando Magic Youth Foundation #wine #orlando

“We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.” ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt.

And building our youth and Central Florida community is Orlando’s very own NBA team Magic, who has contributed over $24 million over the past 29 years through the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OYMF). Bravo!! In fact, only yesterday OYMF granted $1+ million to 16 Central Florida Organizations at it’s home – Amway Center. And since the magnanimous DeVos family covers all administrative costs, 100% of all donations go directly to benefit Central Florida children and families in need.

The inaugural Orlando Magic Wine Festival & Auction last year raised $900,000. That’s $900,000 of grants that were awarded to CFL organizations such as Central Florida Community of Arts, Coalition for the Homeless of CF, Orange County Public Schools Foundation, Hope Community Center, Orlando Ballet, ELEVATE Orlando, Second Harvest Food Bank of Orlando and more.

The second annual Wine Festival and Auction is scheduled for March 13-15 at the luxurious Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grand Lakes. Making it an irresistible day are celebrity chefs and iconic wineries around the globe.
